POTTERY WHEEL COURSE
The pottery wheel design course is an advanced course after basic design skills. It is taught individually or for two people, each on their own spindle. The programme is designed so that you really get to grips with all the basics, processes and varieties of working on the wheel. You make about ten products practically, most of them glazed so you can use them. Afterwards, it is a particular pleasure for the students to drink and eat from their own cups and bowls… After the course, the procedures learnt must be practised further at home, as “practice makes perfect”…
The course follows a well-tried and tested programme and lasts 24 hours, 60 minutes long, divided into sections. It can be more intensive or slower, depending on where you are coming from and how much time you will take per session. You will get the materials and tools at the course, all you need is an apron and a sketchbook and of course ideas for your products.
